What’s up, smarks? I’m coming at you again with another edition of The Underground Recount. Last time, Konnan introduced 3 new proteges, Chavo caught the ire of Mil Muertes and Johnny Mundo demanded a match with Big Ryck for this episode. Let’s where that leads us this week.
Matt Striker Steals My Joke
Sexy Star is already in the ring. She talks smack on Chavo, saying she’ll get revenge for Blue Demon and Mascarita Sagrada. She even goes as far to say she’ll end the Guerrero dynasty.
She’s facing Ivelisse, who she fought before in a tag match where her partner was none other than Chavo. She comes down with mic in hand and talks shit, but Sexy Star slaps her, starting the match.
Matt Striker goes for the ‘Luchadoras the explorers’ joke that came to my mind but I brushed off quickly, but Matt Striker knows better than me to just discard a joke like that. He also is, in general, again kinda horny and I hope he tones it down in the future.
Sexy Star hits 2 suplexes on Ivelisse and now I want her to pull the Three Amigos on Chavo in the future. She also gets the win with a drop toe hold to a rollup.
Family Feud
Drago’s in the locker room, and Dario approaches him. Dario doesn’t know what to make of him because he didn’t win, but he also wasn’t pinned. He wants to see if he’s actually any good or not, so tonight he’s pitting him against King Cuerno.
Penta is in the ring now. He gets booed. He says back in Mexico, he gets no respect. What he’s gonna do to Fenix is gonna be a preview of what he’s gonna do to anyone who messes with him.
Like I said last time, there’s not a lot I can say for this match because these are two guys that words don’t do justice. I can tell you all the moves, the spots, but that won’t do. They gotta be seen.
They recycle this one spot where Penta flips to do a move, but then gets hit by a Koji Cutter, but that’s a spot you can see a hundred times and still love. These guys always give it 100%, always got the tightest spots. Rey wins with a Spanish Fly.
King Cuerno: Dragon Hunter
We then get a package on King Cuerno, who puts over that he’s a savage hunter. We’re about to witness his match with Drago and his big, disgusting tongue. Cuerno enters with a deer headdress, which sure is a look. Vampiro informs us that cuerno means horn.
Cuerno is slick. Both men use the referee for a move. Cuerno gives a great tope, Vamp compares him to a bullet. Drago gets a crazy pin on Cuerno. I thought Cuerno was gonna go over since it was his debut and Dario was gonna be disappointed in Cuerno, but this isn’t the case. Interested to see how this develops.
