- The show opened with a 10-bell salute to Pat Patterson.
- Kayla Braxton had Roman Reigns, Jey Uso & Paul Heyman come down to the ring for an interview. Reigns scolded Kayla for all her bad questions until Kevin Owens interrupted & challenged Roman for The Universal Title in a TLC Match & to fight right now. Roman refused & left, but the announce team confirmed the two will square off at TLC.
- Natalya defeated Bayley
Bayley tapped out to The Sharpshooter. - “Pat Patterson Tribute Match”: Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio & Big E defeated Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura & Dolph Ziggler
Bryan pinned Zayn with a Small Package. The winners all hit Dolph with their finishers after the match. - Sasha Banks & Carmella were interviewed split screen by Michael Cole, ultimately leading to a match being booked between the two for TLC for The Smackdown Women’s Championship.
- King Corbin defeated Murphy
Corbin came down with Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake as his new goons. They started a fight with The Mysterios on the outside & Murphy chased them through the ring, allowing Corbin to hit him with The End Of Days for the win. - Kevin Owens & Otis defeated Roman Reigns & Jey Uso (DQ)
Roman took out Otis on the outside with the steel steps sending him to the back. Jey went for a Splash on Owens, but Roman ordered him to get down & tag him in. Owens took a swing at Reigns, causing him to come in illegally & put him in a Guillotine Choke that he wouldn’t release, so the referee called for the bell. After the match, Reigns & Uso beat KO down with chairs & Roman then beat Jey down with one. Reigns told KO he’d ruin his family at TLC.
