What Happened Last Week On Raw: There was a Guitar on a pole match, seriously. AJ Styles and Randy Orton continued this months tradition of people declaring things they don’t deserve. Lana, table, you know. Tucker wrestled a singles match. Drew McIntyre made Miz and Morrison look how they always look.
Let’s not waste any time and get into this weeks…
RAW Emotions.
USA vs. The World
I enjoy Miz and his claiming of having pull with USA, even if every time someone mentions THE NETWORK I am just waiting for Cyrus The Virus to come out and talk about TNN.
Orton as a snake backed into a corner lashing out at anyone near him is a good idea as well. Miz and Morrison trying to convince him that they are all buddies and have common goals and stuff was fun.
Then the Street Profits New Day showed up and I just don’t know how I feel about them right now. But hey at least there’s an actual team for them to face going forward? Also Drew McIntyre was there. That’s literally all I have to say about him, which is kind of sad.
Riddle me this, Music Man
Oh cool, Not Matt Riddle is on the Survivor Series team now. That’s great, I’m super excited for him and everyone else that now gets to watch him in a main storyline going forward. This isn’t awkward at all. He’s so likeable and everything. Should be a fun good old time for all to have.

Should have made a better Presentation
I love Drew Gulak. As most of you should also. He’s really good at the pro wrestling part of pro wrestling. While also being really good at all the other parts as well. Him joining the Hurt Bidness is something I didn’t know I needed until the idea was shown to me. If only it had been shown in PowerPoint, would it more than likely have succeeded.
R-Truth has now been 24/7 Champion 44 times. Which means he’s lost it 43 times. Which makes him the Sasha Banks of the 24/7 Division.
[Shrug]
I don’t know what the point of all of this is. I question if WWE really knows what point they are moving towards. You have the Women’s Tag Champions both wrestling singles matches on Raw. One of them against LANA of all people. You deny me Shayna vs. Asuka, hopefully because you are planning for it to actually matter later.
Lana gets saved from a table spot only to get put through a table again. We actually have recap counters to show all the different times because beyond Lana’s awkward ring gear IT’S THE SAME THING EVERY WEEK.
Now we have Dana Brooke potentially injured (not Nia’s fault, stop that) and a Raw Women’s Team, a Women’s Title, and a Women’s Tag Title division in a never ending loop of NOTHING.
JUST DO SOMETHING.

I am the Captain Now, Bro.
I do enjoy goofy ass AJ Styles caring about leading Raw’s Team into BRAND SUPREMECY to a point. At least Styles has a purpose right now and isn’t just out there for no reason. I do think we are going to need a Big Jordan payoff very soon because the novelty has definitely worn off. The suits are very nice though.
As long as none of these people show up on Smackdown in red shirts everything will be fine.
Friendship with Nikki ended, Bray is my Best Fiend Now
Oh my Gooood the subtleties in this segment are so good you guys I can’t even handle it. From “Soon though” in regards to inviting Nikki to the FunHouse. Nikki saying she’s “Not Playing” and the “That’s too bad” response because Bliss only knows Play or Pain.
I can only assume this is leading to a singles match with Bliss and Nikki that will be a debut of The Fiend version of Bliss or something of that nature.
I do have a general issue with the idea of The Fiend being “Pure Evil”, because good and evil are perspective. Thanos did nothing wrong.
This Happened
I have nothing really to say about this. Bobby Lashley is being pushed as the skrongest man in the promotion for some reason. Maybe that Brock Lesnar Mania match is coming up, who knows. Beyond that I’m just waiting for the next Network Event cycle so stories actually matter again.

When a stoppable force, met a moveable object, who would win? We found out during a really good match when Mustafa Ali finally allowed Retribution to get in the W column over Ricochet and no one faking a seizure was required.. basically..

I don’t want to constantly talk about how often Raw has matches that just “happen” for “reasons” because really good Pro Wrestling is not something I’m ever going to complain about.
Sadly though this main event of six really good performers just seems to kind of happen to set up next weeks McIntyre and Orton rematch for the WWE Championship. If Randy wins a normal match and ties their record at 2-2, after they’ve already has an Ambulance and Hell in a Cell match. What does that mean?
If Drew wins then what was the point of him losing it in the first place? Is this where Miz and The Fiend come in to play? Can next week end with WWE Champion The Miz? No that would be fun we can’t have that. More punting and backstage fighting for all of you!
