- Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman came out to the ring & as Heyman was praising Reigns for being The Tribal Chief, Roman interrupted saying he doesn’t want to be called that since Jey Uso wouldn’t say it at Clash Of Champions. Reigns called Jey down to the ring & was upset he had to beat Jey so badly, eventually saying he’d give him another shot at Hell In A Cell. However, Roman said the match would have “The greatest stakes in WWE history”, but didn’t elaborate & left (The announce team later said they’d be doing a match in the cell). AJ Styles came down after & said Jey had no business in The Universal Championship hunt, prompting Jey to attack him.
- Jey Uso defeated AJ Styles
After connecting with several Superkicks, Jey hit a Splash from the top rope & pinned Styles. - Backstage, Sami Zayn blamed the fans for allowing Jeff Hardy to become Intercontiental Champion in the first place then threw Hardy’s old title in the trash.
- Otis defeated John Morrison
Otis hit a Vader Bomb for the win. He also announced he’ll being going to court with Miz & will be representing himself instead of getting a lawyer next week. - Big E challenged Sheamus to a Falls Count Anywhere Match next week. Sheamus accepted later on.
- Sheamus defeated Shorty G
After two Brogue Kicks, Sheamus pinned G in a squash. - The Kevin Owens Show happened as part of the “Brand To Brand Invitational” & had Alexa Bliss on as his guest. Owens tried to get to the bottom of why Alexa has been associating with The Fiend, with her replying she actually enjoys it. Bliss eventually said “Let Him in”, the lights flickered & The Fiend appeared & choked Owens out with The Mandible Claw. After, Bliss & The Fiend joined hands & she smiled.
- Matt Riddle & Lucha House Party defeated King Corbin, Cesaro & Nakamura
Kalisto was the odd man out & got on the apron, inadvertently hitting Dorado instead of Cesaro. That distracted Cesaro long enough for Riddle to hit him with the Bro Derek & get the victory. Dorado & Kalisto fought afterwards but it was broken up by Riddle & Metalik. - The mystery woman revealed herself to be Carmella, who blamed the fans for her not succeeding in WWE. She threatened both rosters ahead of the upcoming WWE Draft next week.
- Sasha Banks came to the ring & challenged Bayley for her title next week. She then stripped off her neck brace & appeared to be all healed up for the match.
- The Fiend vs. Kevin Owens was announced for next week.
- Intercontinental Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Jeff Hardy
Zayn removed one of the pads from a top turnbuckle that Hardy later climbed up on. Zayn pulled Jeff’s legs out from under him & his head hit the exposed part, resulting in the pin.
