- The show opened with the contract signing between Sasha Banks & Carmella for The Smackdown Women’s Championship at TLC. Sasha came to the ring, but Carmella no-showed & appeared on The Tron, opting to send an underling to the ring to with her signed portion of the contract. After some trash talk, Sasha challenged Carmella to the match tonight instead & Adam Pearce made it official.
- Dolph Ziggler defeated Montez Ford
Robert Roode caused a distraction attacking Angel Dawkins outside the ring while Montez Ford was on the top rope. Ziggler knocked him off & connected with a Superkick to get the pin. - Sami Zayn defeated Big E
Zayn crawled under the ring & Big E gave chase. Zayn came out on the other side with E behind him, so Zayn kicked him until the referee got to a nine-count. Zayn then jumped back in the ring & won by count out. - Kevin Owens came out to tell Roman Reigns that he does not fear him, despite last week’s beatdown. Owens climbed up a ladder to demonstrate how he’ll win at TLC, when Jey Uso attacked him from behind with a chair. Owens got the upper hand & Powerbombed Uso through a table, causing Roman Reigns to come out to the ramp. Reigns was about to head to the ring, but Paul Heyman talked him out of it. Owens chased Reigns to the back with a chair, but was intercepted by Kayla for an interview. Roman snuck up from behind & beat him down with a chair & threatened Owens’ family.
- The Riott Squad defeated Billie Kay & Natalya
Billie was pinned after taking The Riotts Squad’s Codebreaker/Riott Kick combo. - Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Otis & Chad Gable
Nakamura pinned Gable after hitting him with The Kinshasa. - King Corbin introduced The Forgotten Sons as The Knights Of The Lone Wolf in a backstage interview.
- Smackdown Women’s Championship Match: Carmella defeated Sasha Banks (c) (DQ)
Carmella’s “sommelier” interfered, running through the ring after Sasha had Carmella in The Banks Statement. Sasha chased him off & then beat down Carmella in the corner, ignoring the referee’s five count & getting disqualified. After the match, Sasha put the sommelier in The Banks Statement & Carmella attacked her from behind, eventually smashing a bottle champagne on her.
