WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results – 9.11.2020

Quick & dirty results for September 11, 2020

Be sure to check back in with us this weekend for a review of tonight’s show.

  • Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman brought Jey Uso down to the ring to hype their Universal Championship Match at Clash Of Champions. King Corbin & then Sheamus came out resulting in Jey challenging both to a tag match with Roman. Jey brawled with Sheamus & Corbin while Roman just stood & watched.
  • Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Styles defeated Jeff Hardy (c)
Sami Zayn interrupted before the match declaring it was a sham since he’s the rightful champion, only to be escorted out by security. Zayn returned later & attacked Styles, then Hardy resulting in a disqualification. Hardy & Zayn brawled in the trainer’s room later on.
  • The Street Profits crashed The Champions Lounge ahead of their champions versus champions match this Monday on RAW.
  • Lucha House Party defeated Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura
The Street Profits showed up on The Tron throwing a part in The Champions Lounge distracting Cesaro & allowing him to be rolled up by Kalisto for the pin.
  • Bayley came down to the ring saying she loved every minute of beating up Sasha Banks last week & was using her the entire time to further her career. As she left, Nikki Cross entered for her upcoming match, but Bayley attacked her from behind with a steel chair.
  • Women’s Championship #1 Contender Fatal Fourway Match: Nikki Cross defeated Alexa Bliss, Tamina & Lacey Evans
Alexa Bliss hit Nikki Cross with a Sister Abigail on the floor & then left the match looking entranced. With the three remaining women in the ring, Nikki Cross hit The Purge on Evans & then countered a Superkick by Tamina into a Sunset Flip for the victory. Cross will face Bayley for The Smackdown’s Women’s Championship at Clash Of Champions.
  • Otis defeated John Morrison
Otis pinned Morrison after a Vader Bomb. Miz stole Otis’ lunchbox during the match thinking he had the contract, only for it later to be revealed as a decoy.
  • The Firefly Funhouse tried debut their newest member “Pascal The Parrot” but Bray didn’t cut air holes in the box he was keeping it in, so it didn’t make it. The Vince puppet showed up & declared The Funhouse is now under the new management of “Wobbly Walrus”, a clear jab at Paul Heyman.
  • Roman Reigns & Jey Uso defeated Sheamus & King Corbin
Reigns didn’t bother showing up until the end of the contest & had Uso go it alone. After doing all the work, Reigns tagged himself in, Speared Sheamus for the win & then left.
