- It was announced at the start of the show that three matches would occur & the winners of each would compete in a triple threat match later in the night to determine the #1 contender for The WWE Championship.
- Randy Orton did a promo gloating about putting Drew McIntyre on the shelf. He was also upset he wasn’t just handed a rematch against Drew since he’s entitled to get one without having to beat anybody. Keith Lee interrupted to claim that he should be in line for the title shot after beating Orton at Payback. Dolph Ziggler jumped Lee from behind.

Keith Lee Spirit Bombed Ziggler & got the win. - Charly Caruso interviewed Asuka in the ring asking about who the next contender for her championship should be. Mickie James interrupted saying she’s coming for the title & then Lana & Natalya came down to say Mickie is undeserving. They attacked both James & Asuka, but were eventually tossed out of the ring.

James connected with The Mick Kick for the victory. - #1 Contender Qualifying Match: Randy Orton defeated Kevin Owens
Aleister Black jumped Owens during his entrance & Black Massed him. Owens tried to still have the match, but Orton hit him with an RKO in seconds. - The VIP Lounge celebrated Lashley’s United States Championship win. Cedric Alexander interrupted & MVP asked if he changed his mind about joining The Hurt Business. The Viking Raiders jumped them from behind.

Cedric rolled up MVP for the victory for his team. The Hurt Business beat up Cedric backstage after the match. - Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: The Riott Squad defeated The IIconics
The match was also stipulated that whichever team lost could no longer tag going forward. After several pinning combinations, Ruby countered into a matchbook pin on Billie Kay. The Riott Squad are now #1 contenders for Shayna & Nia’s titles & The IIconics have to break up. - Seth Rollins came down & berated Murphy for costing them the match at Payback, then kicked him out of the ring. As Murphy exited up the ramp, he turned around to face the ring & Dominik attacked him from behind.
- #1 Contender Qualifying Match: Seth Rollins defeated Dominik Mysterio
Dominik missed a Frog Splash allowing Rollins to hit The Stomp for the pin. After the match, Rollins hit The Stomp again. - At Raw Underground, Titus O’Neil beat up two jobbers. Riddick Moss then challenged him & eventually knocked him out.
- R-Truth rolled up Tozawa in a parking garage to become 24/7 Champion for the 900th time.
- Tag Team Tornado Match between The Street Profits & Andrade/Angel Garza was thrown out
Retribution interrupted & beat down The Profits, Andrade & Zelina. Angel Garza escaped before they hit the ring. - Jessamyn Duke & Marina Shafir defeated jobbers on Raw Underground. The IIconics showed up & Peyton threw Billie into the ring just to get beat up by the two.
- Apollo Crews & Shelton Benjamin squared off on Raw Underground next. Benjamin jumped carrying Crews into the crowd resulting in a brawl between The Hurt Business against Apollo, Ricochet & Cedric.
- Retribution beat up a security guard backstage as Garza & Demi Burnett tried to leave the building. Garza ditched her as they threatened to attack & they both ran away.
- WWE Championship #1 Contender Triple Threat Match: Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins & Keith Lee
Lee connected with a Spirit Bomb on Rollins & Orton then hit an RKO on Lee & stole the pin on Rollins.
